Hello Everyone!
Music is a huge part of my life. It has been for as long as I can remember. I grew up playing the flute and the keyboard and later taught myself some guitar and ukulele as well as avidly listening to music since my early primary school days. My music taste has changed over the years of course and I still don’t really know what I would call my ‘taste’ in music because it varies from 1D to My Chemical Romance on a daily basis depending on my mood.
I thought it would be nice to share some of the songs I am loving at the moment though (some of them recently released and some quite old now) and put them into one Summer ’19 playlist for you all to reference if you’re looking for suggestions and for me to look back on to see what I was listening to at this time in my life.It isn’t a terribly long playlist because I’m one of those people that tends to listen to song on repeat, but there is definitely a mix of genres on there, so there should be something for everyone…!

Before I go I thought I’de give you a tiny bit of background on why I like some of these songs. Some of them like ‘I Don’t Care’ I listen to purely because they’re upbeat and put me in a dancy and motivated mood, some of them make me feel empowered like ‘Fight Song’ and others I relate to on a level I have yet to learn how to communicate like ‘Drown’ The Faith Marie cover especially because there is so much emotion in her voice).
I’ve always been a bit believer that music can change your life and it can comfort you, uplift you and empower you when no one else can. What songs are you listening to at the moment?
